In the three color types of the 50 cent notes (Pick J5-J7), there is a special feature on the reverse sides in the ornament above and below the word RESERVE. If you look with a loupe, with a little fantasy you will find the hidden letters C G W R (above) and S (below). It is believed that these letters meant a hidden message against the Japanese regime, namely the words: Central Government Will Return - Soon.
