STUART. Charles I. 1625-1649. AR Halfcrown (34mm, 12.67 g, 4h). Declaration type. Worcester mint; im: castle/–. Struck 1644-1645. Charles on horseback left, holding sword and reins; W below / RELIG : PROT :/ LE : ANG : LIB : PA in two lines between parallel lines; three plumes above; 1644 below. Bull 666/1; Brooker 1139 (same rev. die); North 2598; SCBC 3093. Toned, some weakness, slight porosity. Good Fine. Very rare – Bull notes only eleven specimens.
