Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. AR Denarius (17mm, 3.51 g, 6h). Uncertain Spanish mint (Colonia Patricia?). Struck circa 18 BC. Laureate head right / S • P Q [• R] across field, temple of Mars Ultor: round-domed, tetrastyle temple set on podium of three steps; within, chariot carrying an aquila and miniature galloping quadriga right. RIC I 119; RSC 279. Toned, banker's mark on obverse, a few scratches. Good Fine.
