Anonymous. 157-156 BC. Æ Semis (23.5mm, 10.57 g, 1h). Rome mint. Laureate head of Saturn right; S (mark of value) to left / Prow of galley right. Crawford 197-198B/2 var. (placement of S on reverse); Sydenham –; RBW 849 var. (same). Brown surfaces with traces of green, porous, rotated double strike on reverse, irregular edge. Good Fine. Interesting variety with the obverse die diameter significantly smaller (19mm) than the flan size.
