Charles II (1660-85), silver Pattern Farthing, 1671, laureate and cuirassed bust left, Latin legend and toothed border both sides, CAROLVS .A. CAROLO, rev. Britannia seated left on globe, with shield and spear, holding olive branch, BRITAN NIA. date in exergue, 5.98g (Peck 435; cf.S.3394). Once cleaned, three nicks in obverse field, toned around edge, a bold very fine and extremely rare.
