Henry VI, King of England and France (1422-53), gold Angelot d'Or, Rouen Mint, issued from 24th May 1427, standing figures of Angel Gabriel with outstretched wings behind shields of France and England, Latin legend and beaded borders surrounding, initial mark lion, hENRICVS: FRANCORV: ET: ANGLIE: REX, rev. struck en medaille, Latin cross, lis to left, lion to right, Latin legend and beaded border surrounding, initial mark lion, mullet stops, XPC: VINCIT: XPC': REGNAT: XPC': ImPERAT, 2.33g (Elias 276; SCH 133; AGC 393A dies 1/a; S.8165). A superb example, fully round and well-struck, extremely fine and thus extremely rare.

The abbreviated Latin legend translates as on obverse "Henry, by the grace of God, King of France and England" and on the reverse "Christ conquers, Christ reigns, Christ commands."
