Poland, Sigismund I (1506-48), silver 3-Grosze or Trojak, 1532, Toruń mint, bonneted and cuirassed bust right, legend surrounding with mullet stops, SIGIS. I. REX. POLO. DOIOCI. PRVS., rev. inscription in six lines, .III. / .GROSSVS. / .ARGENTIE. / .TRIPLEX. / .PRVSSIE. / .153Z., 2.51g (Gum-535; Kopicki 3096). Some scratches to reverse, otherwise very fine and handsomely toned, a rare type.

Struck at the Toruń mint for use in Prussia. Supposedly just 23,000 pieces were produced in this year, a small mintage of which very few examples have survived.
