Charles I (1625-1649), Civil War Issues, Bristol Halfcrown, 1644, 'Declaration' type, King on horseback left, Bristol plumelet behind sash, rev. Declaration in two lines, three even plumes, date and BR below, 14.44g, 10h, m.m. plume (on obv. only) (Bull 641/3 [D13-2a]; Morr. B-3; Brooker -; cf. 981; North 2490; Spink 3008), irregular flan with some partial porosity and surface marks, otherwise toned, good fine / very fine but for partial doubling, very rare, only three noted by Bull.
