Montevideo, Uruguay, bronze 40 centesimos, 1844, female sunface, coin alignment, very rare.Antunez-6.6.1; KM-4.36.03 grams.Though hardly visible on this coin, die details show this is the very rare "sol de caballera" variety (as opposed to the usual male sunface), all in typically horrible condition (particularly the edge and rims, with one large void) but most details still clear, Fair overall with patchy toning over light brown surfaces.
