NON : IVPITER IPSE EST; reverse with panorama of the mountain siege showing cannonballs in flight from both sides within legend VICTRIX IN FLAMIS VICTRIX GIBRALTAR IN VNDIS . with Roman numeral date MDCCLXXXIII above R in exergue. Choice, lustrous and bold all over, with small circle of exposed copper at bottom on both sided, slabbed for census purposes as a "British Historical Medal."Pedigreed to the Tomas Prieto collection (stated on label) and plated in Medallas de la Historia de Espana (2017) by de Ramon, Rodriguez Casanova and Canto Garcia.
