Great Britain
George IV gold Sovereign 1823 MS62 PCGS, KM682, S-3800, Marsh-7. A difficult date to acquire in uncirculated preservation, with a single MS64 at each of PCGS and NGC jointly certified as the finest to date. George's portrait is firmly struck within fields carrying warm golden luster, his visage clearly rendered and leaving fine detail within his hair locks and laureate wreath. With only light scattered friction capping the assigned grade, and soft satin qualities embellishing the devices throughout, a fine and highly collectible example of this early and fleeting Sovereign issue.
