INDIA. Kushan Empire. Shaka (ca. AD 305-335). AV dinar (19mm, 11h). ANACS AU 50. Uncertain mint. Shaka standing facing, nimbate head left, sacrificing over lit altar at left, standard in left hand; filleted trident to left, SaYaTha (Brahmi) under king's left arm, Bha between altar and leg, ShaKa to right / Goddess Ardoxsho seated facing, filleted investiture garland in right hand, cornucopia in left; tamgha to left above. Mitchiner 3573. Note - the holder lists SaGha on the obverse, but the Ya is clear and Tha is partially visible on the edge of the flan. Solidly struck from fresh dies.
