Great Britain
George III silver Pattern "Garter" Bank Dollar 1804 AU58 NGC, KM-Pn66, L&S-91, ESC-1963 (prev. ESC-182). A fascinating Pattern "Bank Dollar" overstruck on a Spanish colonial 8 Reales. Impressively, a sufficient level of detail in the undertype is present within the legends to firmly attribute the host as an 1802 Mexico City 8 Reales of Charles IV. Lightly circulated, with a variegated pattern of gentle tone overlying gleaming luster in the fields.
