Exquisitely fine and essentially Prooflike, that this piece was struck from lightly rusted and shallowly engraved dies and yet continues to yield so much eye appeal is an astounding feat. Equally as impressive is its choice grade, hardly a common feature for these gold minors, with the next finest at NGC ranking a full 13 grade points lower at AU50. Quite simply a coin that blows the competition out of the water, and the ideal type specimen.
