TULUNID: Khumarawayh, 884-896, AV dinar (2.24g), al-Rafiqa, AH281, A-664, Bernardi-213Hn, citing the caliph al-Mu'tadid (AH279-289), normal calligraphy of the al-Rafiqa mint for this period, VF, RRR. Tulunid dinars of al-Rafiqa mint are confirmed by Bernardi for all years AH265-280, and this appears to be the first known Tulunid example dated AH281. Regular Abbasid dinars of al-Rafiqa dated AH281 are well-known (Bernardi-211Hn).
