TURKEY:LOT of 17 silver Ottoman Turkish coins including Mustafa III (5), Abdul Hamid I (7), Selim III (1), Mahmud II (3), and Mehmet V (1), all in superb quality condition and attributed in our holders, nearly all better than usual, retail value $1300, lot of 17 coins, ex Hans Wilski Collection. Hans Wilski was the author of the two editions of the "Countermarks on Ottoman Coins" books, a comprehensive description of countermarks and countermarked coins of the Ottoman Empire in four chapters with over 500 countermarks discussed and illustrated.
