MUGHAL: Akbar I, 1556-1605, AR shahrukhi (4.64g), Lahore, AH963, KM-70.3, mint name barely visible, but confirmed by die-link to an example that sold in our Auction 28, Lot 2155, one testmark, VF, RRR. The shahrukhi was adopted from the Shaybanids and their Timurid predecessors, and was used only briefly by Akbar at a few mints, of which Kabul is most often available, Lahore extremely rare.
