Her draped bust right; IOYΛΙΑ ΔΟ-ΜΝΑ [CΕBA] / Dionysos standing facing, head left, holding grape bunch and long thyrsos; panther at his feet to left, head raised toward grapes; YΠA ΑΥΡ ΓΑΛΛΟΥ ΝΙΚΟΠΟΛΙΤ ΠΡΟC ΙCΤΡΟ. H&J 8.17.8.1. Varbanov 2897. Extremely Fine; surface roughness and brown patina on much of obverse, unmarred area on obverse and most of reverse are choice with hard dark green patina. An interesting example of how even a single coin can vary greatly in how well it was preserved.
