ISLANDS OFF THRACE, Thasos. Circa 500-480 BC. Obol (Silver, 7.5 mm, 0.55 g). Two dolphins above one another in opposite directions; three pellets around. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. HGC 337. Le Rider, Thasiennes 9. Quite clear with a good, strong strike and a small incuse square. Scratch on reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
