KINGS OF PONTUS. Polemo II, with Claudius and Nero, 38-64. Drachm (Silver, 18 mm, 3.54 g, 10 h), year IΓ (13) = 50-51. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΠΟΛΕΜΩΝΟΣ Diademed head of Polemo II to right. Rev. IΓ Bareheaded and draped bust of Nero, bareheaded on the left, facing, on the right, a laureate head of Claudius to left. RG 31. RPC 3821. Extremely rare - one of just three known and the only specimen not in a museum collection. Light roughness and dark spots, otherwise, very fine.
