IONIA. Magnesia ad Maeandrum. Pseudo-autonomous issue, 2nd-3rd centuries AD. 1/3 Assarion (Bronze, 13.5 mm, 2.53 g, 7 h). MAΓNHTωΝ Stag standing to left. Rev. Lyre. Unpublished in the standard references but see, among others, Naumann 97, 2021, 1100 (as Magnesia) and 82, 2019, 2442 (as Ephesos). Beautiful black patina. The finest of the only three examples known. Good fine.
