Crowned facing bust, with trefoil on breast; all within tressure of arches with trefoils at cusps / Long cross pattée; trefoils in quarters. Stewartby 257 (this coin); Lawrence 2 var. (obv. legend); North 1142; SCBC 1563. Toned. Near VF. The EWARD reading very rare.

The pellets on the reverse appear to be re-cut. Lawrence records an example with pellets over crowns though from different die to this.
