EPEIROS, Ambrakia. Circa 360-338 BC. AR Stater (22.5mm, 8.11 g, 8h). Pegasos flying right / Helmeted head of Athena right; to left, winged male, holding knee, riding dolphin right. Ravel, Colts 150 (A63/P97); Pegasi 100 (same dies as illustration); HGC 3, 214; BMC 30 (same dies); Sartiges 300 (same dies). Lightly toned, obverse struck off center with worn die, some porosity on reverse. Good VF. Extremely rare, only three noted by Ravel, only one additional in CoinArchives.
