MYSIA, Kyzikos. Circa 450-330 BC. EL Hemihekte – Twelfth Stater (8.5mm, 1.22 g). Head of young male left; below, tunny left / Quadripartite incuse square. Cf. Von Fritze I 143 (unlisted denomination); cf. Boston MFA 1514 (stater); cf. SNG BN 294 (stater); SNG von Aulock 7294. Traces of find patina, minor double strike on obverse. VF. Extremely rare denomination for issue, only three other examples in CoinArchives (one of which is a fourrée).
