IMP CAES M ANT GORDIANVS AVG, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / P M TR P II COS P P, Jupiter standing facing, head left, holding thunderbolt and his mantle in right hand over small figure of Gordian at his feet to left and long scepter in left. RIC IV 21; Calicó 3211a (same dies as illustration); Biaggi –; Jameson –; Mazzini –. Lustrous, light scratches, a couple of small flan flaws on obverse. EF. Rare.
