Bust left; · GE · R · A´R · above; LEONELLVS | MARCHIO/· ESTE | NSIS across field; · D · FERRARIE · REGII · ET · MVTINE ·below / Cupid standing left on rocky ground, holding scroll and teaching lion standing right to sing; behind lion, eagle standing left in bare tree; to right, cippus decorated with ship left under sail and · M ·/CCCC/XLIIII; to right of cippus; · OPVS ·/PISANI ·/PICTORIS . Hill 32 (for original). Brown surfaces, edge marks. VF. Later cast of an important Renaissance medal.
