1850 Small Date Liberty Head Eagle. . Choice EF.

Rarer than the large date variety, this 1850 Liberty Head Eagle has a date logotype which was intended for the $5 half eagle. One small mark appears on the neck with a tiny scuff at the top of the headband. Otherwise, the coin is quite clean for the grade. Some remaining luster. An attractive coin in hand.
