MDCCXVII, Britannia seated left, placing right hand on the tablets of the Constitution, left supporting shield; in background to right, statue of Neptune on garlanded base; ENGLAND GIVES A/CONSTITUTION TO in two lines in exergue / Seven females, representing the seven Ionian islands, dancing around British flag; THE IONIAN ISLANDS beloe; MUDIE D. in exergue and DEPAULS F. to right.
