Prince Charles (III) Edward Stuart (1720-1788), Bonnie Prince Charlie, was born in Rome. His only brother, Prince Henry Benedict Maria Clement (1725-1807), Cardinal York, now represented the last direct male descendant of the Stuart royal line.
