Watch List notes:

Russia USSR Medal (1945) 'For the Liberation of Warsaw'. Is made of brass and has the shape of a regular circle with a diameter of 32 mm. On the front side; at the top; along the circumference; there is an inscription 'FOR LIBERATION'; in the center there is an inscription on the ribbon 'WARSHAVY'; at the bottom there is an end star with rays radiating from it. The obverse of the medal is bordered by a rim. On the reverse side of the Warsaw Liberation Medal 'January 17 1945'; there is a five-pointed asterisk above the date. All inscriptions and images on the medal are convex. The medal is connected with an eyelet and a ring to a pentagonal block covered with a blue silk moire ribbon 24 mm wide. In the middle of the tape is a red strip 8 mm wide. The edges of the ribbon are bordered with narrow yellow stripes. Brass. Weight approx: 29.61 g. Diameter: 32 mm
