(1943-44) (KM A1.2, L&M434, Kann941, Lec.322) - Obv: Chinese character Fu (wealth) / Rev: 'Genuine Silver 1 Tael' in Chinese and Burmese.- struck for payment of French Indo China opium trade, Chinese forces at the Yunnan-Burma border or Allied laborers - NGC MS64+, a sharply struck, highly lustrous, and flashy example with minimally marked surfaces exhibiting none of the typical design weaknesses, top of the pops at NGC with 19 pieces graded MS64 with only one in MS64+ (this piece) - an exceptional example of this conditionally rare issue
