SAKARAUKAE. Uncertain. Drachm (Silver, 18 mm, 3.36 g, 12 h), imitating a drachm of the Parthian king Phraates IV (circa 38-2 BC). Struck by Subarsacid Vassals. Diademed and draped bust of Phraates IV to left; being crowned by eagle flying to left behind; below head, countermark with draped bust wearing Macedonian helmet to right. Rev. Archer (Arsakes I) seated right on throne, holding bow; below bow, monogram; around, blundered legend. Shore 473. Sellwood 91.13. Somewhat crystallized and with edge cracks, otherwise, about very fine.
