Draped bust of Yazdgard I to right, wearing elaborate crown with korymbos and crescent on forehead; around, blundered legend. Rev. Fire altar flanked by two attendants; in upper left field, crescent; to left and right, blundered legend. SNS III, pl. 53, 57. Minor cleaning scratches on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
