PHRYGIA. Dionysopolis. Pseudo-autonomous issue. Hemiassarion (Bronze, 17 mm, 3.36 g, 6 h), time of the Severans, 193-235. Draped bust of Dionysos to right, wearing wreath of ivy and fruit. Rev. ΔIONYCOΠOΛЄITΩN Pan advancing right, dancing, holding grape bunch in his right hand and pedum over his left shoulder. SNG Copenhagen 345. Very rare. The reverse somewhat double struck, otherwise, very fine.
