ASIA MINOR. Uncertain. 2nd-3rd centuries. Tessera (Lead, 18 mm, 4.48 g, 12 h). Facing bust of Artemis Ephesia (or possibly, Tyche) wearing polos. Rev. Asklepios standing right, head turned left, holding serpent-entwined staff set on the ground. Apparently unpublished but cf. Vossen col. 32 (for a similar facing bust). An attractively designed tessera of fine style. Very fine.
From a collection of lead tesserae from Asia Minor.
