BYZANTINE. Circa 6th-7th centuries. Tessera (Lead, 14 mm, 4.50 g). Cross consisting of two intersecting linear frames; letters or decorations in the quadrants; all in double concentric circles. Rev. Blank. Somewhat rough, otherwise, very fine.
