Divus Augustus, died AD 14. Dupondius (Orichalcum, 28 mm, 11.44 g), Rome, struck under Tiberius, circa 34-37. DIVVS AVGVSTVS PATER Radiate head of Divus Augustus to left. Rev. S - C Eagle standing facing on globe, head to right and wings spread. BMC 155. Cohen 247. RIC 82. Attractive green patina. The obverse a bit weak and the reverse slightly rough, otherwise, good very fine.
