D N ANASTASIVS P P AVG Pearl-diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Anastasius I facing slightly to right, holding spear in his right hand and with a shield decorated with horseman attacking a fallen foe over his left shoulder. Rev. VICTORIA AVGGG A / CONOB Victory standing front, head to left, holding long voided cross in her right hand; in field to right, star. DOC 3a. MIB 3-5. SB 3. A very attractive example with a lovely obverse. Struck from a somewhat corroded reverse die and the flan a bit wavy, otherwise, good extremely fine.
