BYZANTINE. 4th-6th centuries. Weight of 1 Nomisma (Bronze, 12x18 mm, 4.35 g, 12 h), a square weight made from an issue of Trajan (98-117) from Laodicea ad Mare. Laureate head of Trajan to right. Rev. Turreted and veiled bust of Tyche to right. For coin type, cf. RPC III 3795-3798. Thick deposits, otherwise, very fine.
