ISLAMIC, Time of the Rashidun. Pseudo-Byzantine types. Fals (Bronze, 16 mm, 3.23 g, 10 h), Arab-Byzantine type, imitating a dodekanummia of Constans II from Alexandria, after AH 24 = AD 645. Imperial figure standing facing, wearing crown surmounted by cross, holding long cross in his right hand and globus cruciger in his left. Rev. Cross potent on globe between I and B. DOCAB 131ff.
