ABBASID: al-Mu'tamid, 870-892, AR dirham (3.61g), Andaraba, AH273, A-240.10, without any governor or heir, very clear mint & date, Fine to VF, RRR. Struck during the conflict in the region of Andaraba between the Banijurid ruler Muhammad b. Ahmad and his opponent Sa'id b. Shu'ayb. The purely Abbasid type has been confirmed for AH263-269, but apparently hitherto unreported for AH273.
