The date 1827 is partly weak, but absolutely clear when carefully viewed with small magnification.An example of 1827 Rio de Janeiro 960 reis, graded XF-45 by NGC, fetched $4500 in the Heritage NY Signature Sale 3012, lot 23323, in January 2011.
