BANIJURID: Muhammad b. 'Umar, 881-881, AR dirham (3.05g), Banjhir, DM, A-1433G, SNAT-XIVd:63, citing the caliph al-Mu'tamid, pleasing Fine, RRR. Different dies from the Tübingen specimen, with rabbi Allah instead of lillah above the reverse field. The full name muhammad bin 'umar is very clear on this piece. Aside from the Tübingen specimen, there is one in the Shamma collection, to be published in the sylloge series of the Ashmolean. This appears to be the third known specimen. Both the Tübingen and Shamma specimen show the date, AH268, which is off-flan on this piece.
