CHAGHATAYID KHANS: Buyan Quli Khan, 1348-1359, AR dinar (7.75g), Sipijab, AH753, A-2007, date in numerals in obverse margin, mint name on reverse below the name abu bakr, both date & mint boldly clear, VF, RRR. Sipijab was called Isbijab on pre-Mongol coins, mainly Qarakhanid, and is only moderately rare for some of the earlier Qarakhanid issues. It is extremely rare for the Chaghatayids, for whom it is reported only for Buyan Quli Khan and always dated 753.
