Obverse bears the name amir shir 'ali, surrounded by the Sunni kalima, the reverse has the mint, mint epithet & date. The denomination is also known as a toman, as it usually bears the same weight as the contemporary Iranian gold coin of Nasir al-Din Shah (about 3.4g).Coins in slabs cannot be weighed!
