Cast medal 1473, opus: Bartolomeo of Sperandio Savelli (1431-1504), called Sperandio from Mantova. AE (g 204,1; mm 81,8). ILLVSTRISSIMVS SIGISMVNDVS ESTENSIS, bust turned to the left, bareheaded and with long hair, dress with high collar. Rv. OPVS SPERANDEI, winged naked Cupido on the front, with a palm branch and balance, leaning on a sword. Kress 117 (Piombo 87mm); Armand I, 68,19; Hill 367; Tervarent 16.
Extremely fine old cast, pierced with dark brown patina.
