Cast medal 1400-1402, of the French Paris school. AE (g 178,3; mm 93,5). SVPER TENEB(R)AS NOSTRAS MILITABOR IN GENTIBUS, bust turned to the right, with a long beard and head crowned, the emperor looking toward the radiant sun and spent two fingers through his thick beard, in the field horizontally in Greek title and name Eraclio and: ILLVMINA VVLTVM TVVM. Rv. SVPER ASPIDEM ET BAZILISCVM etc .... in Greek, in the field always in Greek: Glory to God .... Etc ..., the emperor in a chariot pulled by three horses caparisoned.
