THESSALY

ΛΑΡΙΣ /ΑΙΩΝ Horse to right, preparing to roll over. BCD Thessaly II 325. Herrmann Group VII, pl. V, 17. HGC 4, 464. SNG Copenhagen 132. Of lovely style. Light porosity and a few minor marks, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.

From an American collection.
The interesting thing about the facing head hemidrachms of Larissa is the fact that most are found in quite bad condition - this piece is actually surprisingly nice!
