ΘΕΣΣΑ / ΛΩΝ Athena Itonia striding to right, hurling spear with her right hand and extending shield in her left; above spear, ΓΟΡ-ΓΙΑΣ; below shield, ΝΙ; across inner field, Θ-Ε/Μ-IΣ/T-O/ΓENHΣ. BCD Thessaly II 881.3. Klose pp. 341 and 346, 14. With a superbly dramatic late Hellenistic head of Zeus of very high quality.
