Greek Coinages, ÆOLIS, Temnos, Tetradrachm, c. 200-180, in the name and types of Alexander the Great, head of Herakles right, wearing lion-skin, rev. αλεχανδρου, Zeus seated left, holding eagle and sceptre, monogram and e below hand, oinochoe and vines by legs, 15.14g (Price 1676; SNG Lockett 1468). Possibly removed from a ring mount, otherwise very fine, reverse better £150-£180
